ibeachalot's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Movin' out! Our house is officially sold!! The couple presented a contract last night. They lowballed us with an unbelievable amount. It was almost $7,000 under our asking price, which is totally unacceptable. The couple said themselves the house needs absolutely nothing, so why the need to offer so little? We countered at just under our asking price. We told the realtor we couldn't come down one bit, so our counter offer was a pure gift. We mentioned to our agent that we would be willing to negotiate with the buyer about the appliances. They decided they wanted the refrigerator, but wanted it included in their offer. We meant for them to purchase it seperately, not to be included in a lowball offer. So now we get to leave our brand new fridge and don't even get our asking price for the house, Goddamnit. Kevin is upset about us not getting full pop for the place, but at least we don't have to sweat getting it sold. We can concentrate on getting into an apartment and getting the new house built. Bad thing is, the new people want a speedy escrow and want to be in by August 20th!!!! So this is my official warning to all my loyal readers, that I won't be around much in the next few weeks. Between Griffin's birthday, the Wiggles concert, the I'll try to pop on every once in awhile and give brief updates, so be sure an dlook forward to them, nnkay? Gotta go GET EVAN ONTO THE BUS!!!!
